CARLA DUNLAP KAAN, PFS has been in the field of fitness for over 40 years. Carla is certified in personal training by the Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research, a certified nutrition counselor and a certified Classical Pilates Instructor. Her most recent certification is to teach Pole Fitness and ballet barre work based on the works of Lotte Berk amongst others. During her great career she has won the prestigious award of IFBB Ms. Olympia in 1983, is a two-time IFBB World Mixed Pairs Champion with partner Tony Pearson and is a featured character in two docu-dramas. The first "Pumping Iron II-The Women" was a general release movie for which film critic Roger Ebert dubbed Carla the “Sex symbol of the 1985 Cannes Film Festival” and is currently available on DVD.  The second is the Scott Frank film “Women of Iron”. She was a regular cast member of ESPN/ESPN2's Body Shaping.
